My New Year’s Resolution for 2015
By: Jon Paul M. Cloma

There is nothing in permanent in this world except change. Change should happen for better things to commence. Change for the better, as it goes.
In our lives, there is something that we call “New Year’s Resolution”. It is the changing of lives when New Year comes. It is said to be helpful in helping one to achieve success. Now may I ask; do you have yours?  Well for me, I have three.
My New Year’s Resolution goes in three things: change my attitude, change in lifestyle, and change ME.
First things first. The first resolution of mine is to change my attitude. I have been a bad person during 2014. I have been bullying my classmates, talking back to my parents, and making enemies at school. It is so bad. I have realized that everything goes right when you do right. Respect is important in our diversity. And love makes everything united and in peace.
The next thing to change is my lifestyle. I have been begriming the surroundings. I haven’t been cleaning my room. And I haven’t been eating the proper and nutritious foods. The environment is made to suffer from my wrong doings; and now, everyone is affected of what I have been doing. Even my health, too. My body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit, has been destroyed by improper and unlikely foods. Now, I have been suffering from illnesses caused by these foods. Each and every one of us has their own flaws. That’s why I am starting to correct my own one.
And the last thing I want to change, which I consider is the most important, is to change MYSELF. I am not talking about my physical appearance, because I am contented and happy of what I have. Being something better is what I want to achieve. By being a productive citizen of this country, I could help building the nation. I know I’m just a normal person, but by being an obedient citizen, I could help the nation.
Those were my New Year’s Resolution.
I have found three. Have you found more?
